Oblong Books & Music began as Oblong Books & Records in Millerton in October, 1975. In 2010 we celebrated 35 years of serving music and book lovers in the most beautiful region of northern Dutchess County. We are an independent store that is open every day and stocked with both the expected and unexpected. Oblong’s shelves feature everything from Moby Dick to Moby Grape. Oblong, taking its name from an historic district in eastern New York, strives to be the best independent book and records store(s) you will find anywhere. Being situated 100 miles north of Manhattan in the gorgeous rolling hills between Millerton and Rhinebeck is a splendid bonus. Come in and see us. |
