It all started 25 years ago as a little shop in an old horse barn. Owner, Joan Osofsky, called it Hammertown Barn. It was her vision to bring a “modern country” sensibility to this corner of the Hudson Valley. She succeeded. Now 2 more stores later, she continues to inspire her customers to “love where they live” by carefully selecting and curating every item in our stores whether it’s a pair of earrings, a lamp, a piece of furniture, a book, or a child’s toy, it is selected with standards of design, purpose, style and most important — comfort.
